OCEARCH tracks and tags great white sharks to help protect the world’s oceans. The ecological non-profit also played a pivotal role in the first batch of Jefferson’s Ocean. Barrels of the uniquely delicious whiskey were stored and aged on an OCEARCH research vessel as it followed the migratory patterns of great whites. Currently, Jefferson’s Ocean is aged on ships that travel to five continents and more than 30 ports of call. Jefferson’s Bourbon continues to support this essential cause, and OCEARCH even named a great white shark Jefferson as a thank you.

Now Jefferson’s Bourbon is giving away a trip on an OCEARCH ship to a few lucky whiskey fans. While you wait to see if you’ve won the grand prize, you can celebrate the Summer of the Shark with signature cocktails featuring Jefferson’s Ocean at top bars in Nashville and Philadelphia.

Everyone who signs up will have to access to a Summer of the Shark passport that could lead to free Jefferson’s swag. Register for the sweepstakes and present your email confirmation or digital ticket at one of the participating bars in Nashville or Philadelphia. After you do that, you will be presented with a Summer of the Shark passport. If you fill the passport with a stamp from every participating bar in your city, you can redeem it for exclusive Jefferson’s swag.
